SERVPRO of Black Hawk County 2018 Continuing Education Classes with YOU in mind!
2/22/2018 (Permalink)
Continuing education classes (CE) are an important part of practicing insurance for both personal lines and commercial agents.
Each state has different licensure requirements for insurance agents. In general, to obtain a license to sell insurance, one must pay a fee, complete a pre-licensing training course and pass a licensing examination.
Agent licenses must be renewed and maintained by completing continuing education.
The magic number 36 is how many credit courses Iowa resident licensees must complete of CE’s every three years. Only 18 hours of the total requirement can be earned through self-study unless a course is part of a national designation. Three hours of ethics training must be included as part of the overall CE requirement.
SERVPRO of Black Hawk County organizes and makes possible classroom CE credit courses. The courses are presented by a licensed speaker that has been approved and has their classes registered in the State of Iowa.
